    We were thinking too much like linguists -- that people would be interested in the different patterns of words with different capitalizations. They're not, or at least not yet. :-)

    Yeah, the stats are not yet as reliable as they should be -- think of them as a preview of real stats that we'll have soon. At the moment they are mostly impressionistic, but soon (I'm writing this while taking a break from working on it) they'll be much better, more informative and complete, and better-explained.

    You can install it now through Firefox and IE's auto-discovery of search plugins: when you go to Wordnik, your browser search box will light up and if you click on it, there will be an option to "Add Wordnik search" or something to that effect. Sorry that we still haven't put an explicit link to this somewhere on the site, but we will.

    Thank you! (And yes, we're very sorry ...) We're working to make Wordnik a better experience in IE6.

    And, while we'd NEVER encourage you to subvert your company's IT policies, have you seen this? (http://www.techknowl.com/2009/02/download-opera-chrome-firefox-usb.html) You can carry your favorite browser on a usb drive and never have to install it ...

    Thanks! Once we’re out of this stage of beta, we won’t require a login to use the site (other than for adding content, like recording pronunciations).
