Information about regional variation
I'm aware that wordnik is mostly built around American English resources, but I would be very pleased if, under the hood, there are ways of indicating regional variance in meanings, pronunciations, etc. I ask as I'm Australian (and I know plenty of english speakers in other countries), and I'd love for wordnik to represent all Englishes, not just American English.

Include search suggestions drop-down in the search field
Would love a list of search suggestions that drop down in the search field. It would do wonders for avoiding misspelled words, and could also encourage serendipity.
This could also be supplemented with search suggestions on the result page if a word is mistyped (like if I were to search for 'kitteb' instead of 'kitten').

I'd like to be able to see MY favorited words.
I like that I can favorite words. I keep a list of words I like so I will use them and thereby increase my vocabulary. It would be nice if wordnik could replace this list for me.
Perhaps a link to "My Favorite Words".
Love the site. Found at TED.

part of speech
include the part of speech with the definitions and "how it's used" sections

don't use someone's twitter handle when searching for real time uses of word. See: deipnosophist
You search for uses of words on twitter. But you should ignore the twitter handles people use. The often use words. As a result, you won't see uses of the word, just tweets by the person who has the word as his handle.

Colors of the site make it hard to see
A little color theory goes a long way. Low-contrast backgrounds that contain similar color elements to those used in fonts create conditions that make the website difficult to use, especially for those 10% of American men with some form of colorblindness

Make searches insensitive to accents
When searching for words with accents (umlauts, etc), we currently need to actually enter the accented letter. It would be easier if "née" and "nee" could bring up the same search results.

User profile records contributions
Is it possible to have contriburtions made, for example notes on word usage etc., recoeded in one's profile? Currently, after leaving a note on a word, there is no sign that the note has been left at all.
